Country Women’s Association

The Country Women’s Association (CWA) exemplifies the value of social connection, creating supportive communities and voicing both the value and challenges associated with country living. As these values align strongly with the goals and objectives of RAMHP we have built a strong partnership with the CWA. Our partnership with the CWA spans all levels from the Executive down to individual branches in the most remote parts of NSW. Currently, we are providing our Community Support Skills training to all CWA members in rural NSW. Our partnership is built on mutual benefit with membership of the CWA providing an effective strategy for establishing social connection which is essential for good mental health. Likewise, our RAMHP Coordinators are a known source of support when members are concerned about their own or their family’s mental health.
