Looking after yourself

Looking after the land and our livelihood is important, but so too is looking after ourselves. This short animation gives practical examples of how we can take a few small moments out of the day to focus on ourselves. Looking after ourselves and making ourselves a priority improves our mental health and wellbeing. What will you do for yourself today?

Circles of Control

Circles of Control is a model by Stephen Covey. This short animation helps to explain the 3 circles and the importance of focusing our energy on the things we can control versus those we can influence, or that are out of our control. The model moves stress and worries away from events we cannot control and instead turns towards those we can control such as our thoughts, feelings and beliefs. The result is time and energy better spent and a more positive mindset.

Cumulative Adversity

Sometimes, it feels like one event after the other occurs, with little time to recover or reset in between. Things that once seemed easy to face might feel more challenging or draining. This is known as cumulative adversity. This short animation helps to understand the concept and provides practical strategies on ways to prepare for and work through cumulative adversity.
