Armidale based RAMHP Coordinator, Andy chose Deepwater School of Arts to say thank you for many years of supporting RAMHP and many other local initiatives. Andy said the Deepwater committee and volunteers have organised remarkable events which bring people together to educate and entertain and most importantly provide a space for connection and belonging.
Rural life is a challenge; we need community like we need the rain.
It is a vital ingredient in health and wellbeing.

In April 2026, RAMHP hosted a Halls with Heart event for Deepwater School of Arts committee members and volunteers by sharing lunch, Easter egg lucky door prizes and mental health resources. Participants engaged in activities to reflect on what the hall means to the community, the benefits of volunteering, and how RAMHP can support the community going forward.
