As the focus shifts from eradication to management of Varroa Mite, Beekeepers across NSW continue to face challenging times and it’s normal to feel a range of emotions. Stressful events can cause feelings like worry and unease, grief might come from the loss of your bees, and anger can come from uncertainty, but there are things you can do to take care of yourself.
As much as possible, maintaining routines with a good diet, regular exercise and quality sleep will increase your capacity to deal with stress.
This is the time to stay connected with family and friends and seek support when the time is right for you.
NSW Department of Primary Industries will be transitioning to a new focus. For more information click here.
