Royal Agricultural Society

In 2017, the Royal Agricultural Society (RAS) partnered with RAMHP to bring a mental health focus to the Sydney Royal Easter Show. The Royal Easter Show attracts a large rural population from across New South Wales (NSW). We identified this as a perfect opportunity to inform rural populations about where they can access mental health support resources by increasing RAMHP’s brand awareness during this high profile state-wide event. This was achieved by displaying information on staying mentally healthy in the Sheep & Cattle Pavilions, educating the RAS Showgirls and RAS President’s Wives on RAMHP’s services, and disseminating mentally healthy promotional messages via the popular ‘Ag Bag’ organised by the RAS.

With the combination of RAS’s commitment to supporting rural communities and RAMHP’s focus on linking rural people to the mental health support they need, we see this as a valuable and long term partnership.
