Heavy Industry Support Skills (HISS)

Duration: 2 hours

Description: Heavy Industries Support Skills training addresses the unique challenges of working within industries such as mining. Participants will leave equipped with the skills, knowledge and confidence to identify and approach others who may be experiencing mental health concerns and to help those at risk of suicide. They will learn communication skills and techniques to cope with stress, as well as how and where to seek help and assistance for mental health concerns.
