Psychological Preparation for an Emergency

Psychological Preparation for an Emergency is a free, one-hour course designed to help manage our emotional responses in the face of disasters such as bushfires, floods or a pandemic.

In the same way that we can take actions to prepare our homes and surroundings to better cope with disasters, we can also prepare ourselves. This course aims to raise awareness on the psychological impacts of emergencies, improve coping skills for effective handling of emergencies, and support psychological resilience for recovery after a natural disaster.
