Mental Health Month

Celebrated in October each year in NSW, Mental Health Month encourages us all to think about our mental health and wellbeing. It’s also a chance to promote activities and ideas that can have a positive impact on our daily lives and the lives of others.

These events and messages are tied together with a specific theme and the theme for 2026 is ‘A little connection goes a long way‘, highlighting how everyday moments of connection can support mental health and wellbeing.

RAMHP is all about creating opportunities for people to connect in creative and meaningful ways. From chat & create sessions to blacksmithing workshops and butchering days, we bring people together to strengthen connections – the kind that become vital during tough times. Check out our Let’s Talk Getting Connected resource for practical tips and information.

Keep track of what we’re up to during the month of October via our Facebook page.
