Celebrating community at Sofala Show

Boasting connection, collaboration and achievement, Ag Shows bring people together to celebrate all that’s great in a community and the 48th Sofala Agriculture & Horticulture Show was no different. As in past years, an army of volunteers worked tirelessly to produce an event that showcases the communities’ achievements with a focus on the wellbeing of all community members, young and old.

RAMHP was extremely proud to be the major sponsor this year and Bathurst based RAMHP Coordinator, Kylie had the honour of officially opening the show.

“It went amazingly. Lots of conversations were had, and parents were so happy with the free activities for the kids. It was busy all day, which was great!”

“The RAMHP contribution to this year’s show was of enormous value to the day. It was unbelievable how much awesome stuff was on offer for the kids and for FREE!! The kids had to complete a list of things on their lanyard – such as visit the petting zoo, go on the blocking bull (free), visit certain exhibits, compete in the platypus race etc and then they returned their lanyards and they got vouchers for show bags, ice cream and money vouchers in exchange for that. My 3 boys aged 10, 9 & 7 hardly pestered us all day. Fancy that! It meant parents had more cash free to purchase food and other things too. So, a great day all around for all vendors because of this. Fantastic!”
