A series of Women’s Wellbeing workshops were held across the state from March to June 2026, delivered in partnership with the Rural Women’s Network.
These events were designed to empower rural and regional women by providing an opportunity for connection and the chance to learn practical skills to boost wellbeing.
Here’s what some participants said they learnt from the workshops:
Self-care is NOT an indulgence.
Rural and isolated women need regular connection for physical, emotional and mental wellbeing.
Coming together is therapy in itself.
It’s OK to take moments in your day and week for yourself.
The importance of making time for self-care in everyday life.
