STAYING CONNECTED | Often, it's the informal, volunteer-driven groups that bring people together without breaking the bank. Think of the Mums and Bubs groups or the Men’s and Women’s Sheds. These groups build networks of support, so when challenges arise, communities that are socially connected are better able to bounce back.

WHAT A RELIEF 🤣 Thanks to Moree Plains Shire Council's Ricochet project for bringing award-winning comedian, Damian Callinan to the communities of #moree, #garah, #pallamallawa, #boggabilla, #Mungindi and #boomi for a series of comedy shows recently.

RAMHP Coordinator, Letitia provided insights into the mental health challenges people face when times are tough, during recovery and the importance of investing in wellbeing and care for others.

After facing multiple adversities, Letitia said it was the perfect opportunity for community connection, knowledge building around mental health and of course, laughter.
