RAMHP and the Royal Flying Doctor Service South Eastern Section have worked closely on a number of initiatives across the Far West. We share the same commitment and passion for supporting isolated and vulnerable people living in rural and remote regions of NSW.
Most recently, the We’ve Got Your Back program (a partnership between RFDSSE and Lifeline Broken Hill Country to Coast), in partnership with RAMHP and the NSW Far West Local Health District have delivered a number of Butchering days on remote station properties.
These events are a great way of bringing people together to learn a useful skill for living remotely, whilst also seeing what support services are available and the mental health and wellbeing information that’s on offer.
